WHO WE ARE
The Middlesex County Coalition on Housing & Homelessness (MCCHH) was formed in 2008 to implement the Middlesex County Ten Year Plan to End Homelessness. MCCHH members include representatives from local faith organizations, service providers, local government, businesses, private foundations, local hospitals and more. The Coalition is a fluid entity with new members joining and committees evolving to meet the changing needs of the community.
WHAT WE DO
We work to implement every aspect of the Middlesex County Ten Year Plan to End Homelessness. This plan details the activities needed to meet our goal of ending homelessness by 2018. This can only be achieved through a concentrated countywide effort, commitment of federal and state dollars, support and participation from both the business and faith-based communities, and the work of many volunteers throughout Middlesex County.
The Ten Year Plan to End Homelessness is an expression of our collective commitment to actively seek long-term and sustainable solutions, rather than continuing to simply manage episodes of homelessness as they occur. It is a commitment to ensure that there is an appropriate, affordable roof over the head of everyone living in Middlesex County - whether young or old, living alone or with families, sick or well.
